Statement of the Association of Families of Flight PS752 Victims Condemning the Bloodiest Massacre of Iranians in Contemporary History

We have seen the dismembered bodies of our loved ones on the ground of Shahidshahr, wrapped in the regime’s green and black body bags. We have witnessed the collapse of humanity in the hellish building of the Kahrizak forensic institute. We know what “unidentifiable” truly means. We know how deep and painful the anger and grief that follow these crimes are.

All evidence and indications show that in recent days the Islamic Republic has carried out the largest massacre of Iranians in contemporary history. It is reported that the number of those killed exceeds the twelve thousand mentioned in the initial reports.

In recent days, we have been in contact with members of parliament, lawmakers in Canada, and officials at foreign ministries, and we have demanded a firm response to the collapsing regime of the Islamic Republic. As part of these efforts, we also present the following demands to the free world:

Refer the case of the Islamic Republic’s organized crimes to the United Nations Security Council. The Security Council must convene immediately to address this massacre and take decisive action against the Islamic Republic of Iran so that the International Criminal Court can initiate investigations. Expel the ambassadors of the Islamic Republic from your countries. Agents of espionage and crime must have no place in the free world. The unchecked violence of these criminals and the ongoing executions must stop immediately. Political prisoners must be released without delay. Access to free internet and telephone services is a fundamental human right. Help Iranians inside Iran inform the world about the crime that has taken place.

The Islamic Republic regime is doomed to fall. It has never had the legitimacy to govern the people and land of Iran. Overthrowing this regime is a necessity, and only truth seeking and the prosecution and punishment of both perpetrators and those who ordered these crimes can bring relief to today’s mourners. What is happening in Iran is a clear case of crimes against humanity. Act immediately and without delay to support the people of Iran. Until the day of justice, we will neither forget nor forgive the murderers of Iran’s children.
