Statement of the Association of Families of Flight PS752 Victims on 40th Day Since the Brutal Killings of Protesters In January 2026

18 February 2026

The fortieth day since the killing of thousands of honorable and innocent people in the recent massacre in Iran has arrived. For forty days, families and survivors have been mourning their loved ones who lost their lives solely for demanding human dignity, freedom, and justice, taken by organized and inhumane violence.

We stand alongside and in solidarity with the grieving families, strongly condemning this humanitarian tragedy. We once again emphasize that direct responsibility for this massacre lies with the Islamic Republic government. The continued repression, the use of lethal violence against defenceless citizens, and efforts to conceal and distort the truth not only fail to lessen the depth of this tragedy but further deepen the wounds of the families and society.

The experience of justice-seeking families has shown that the path to justice is long and difficult. However, the memory and names of those who lost their lives will never be silenced. We believe that seeking justice is an undeniable right, and striving to uncover the truth and hold both the perpetrators and those who ordered this crime accountable is a human and historic duty.

On the fortieth day of remembrance for these beloved individuals, while honoring their memory, we once again declare our solidarity with their families. We call on the international community, human rights organizations, and all free people around the world to stand with the people of Iran and not remain silent in the pursuit of justice and accountability.

Until the truth is revealed and justice is established for the killers of Iran’s children, we will Neither Forget Nor Forgive.
