Statement of the Association on the Sixth Anniversary of the Downing of Flight PS752

Six years have passed since the crime in which 176 innocent people and an unborn child, each with a name, a face, and a unique life, were killed by the Islamic Republic of Iran. This anniversary is not merely a reminder of a tragedy for us; it is a moment to reaffirm the commitment we made from the very first day: a commitment to truth, justice, and accountability.

As we mark the sixth anniversary of the downing of Flight PS752, the people of Iran are once again in the streets, fighting for human dignity, freedom, and justice. The response of the Islamic Republic, as always, has been bullets. The Association of Families of the Victims of Flight PS752 does not separate itself from the suffering and demands of the people of Iran and explicitly supports the people’s right to freedom, justice, and a dignified life. We extend our condolences to all families who have lost loved ones and stand in solidarity with them.

Over these six years, despite lies, denial, threats, and organized efforts to conceal the truth, the families have never retreated from the path of justice. We have not allowed the truth to be buried, nor have we allowed the names of our loved ones to be reduced to mere numbers on the list of victims of the Islamic Republic’s crimes. We have fought against forgetting, and we will continue this struggle.

The Association of Families of the Victims of Flight PS752 continues to pursue the legal cases related to this crime with determination and perseverance in international forums and will use all available legal means to hold those who ordered and carried out this crime accountable. We believe that justice, though delayed, is achievable.

The case of this massacre remains open, and those responsible will one day be tried in an impartial and fair court. We neither forget nor forgive the killers of our loved ones.
