The Association’s Statement on the War

The people of Iran have had no part in the war that has broken out. Over the past decades, no one has asked their opinion in decision-making on the minor and major affairs of the country, and now they are trapped in this war.

Many commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including some who ordered and perpetrated the downing of Flight PS752, were killed on the first day. We would have preferred to see them face trial in courts of justice as accused, but we are not saddened by their demise.

Over the past few days, innocent people have also lost their lives. We hold the Islamic Regime primarily responsible for the loss of innocent lives.

Amidst this war, we stand with the noble people of Iran who have fought for freedom and justice for years. We still hope that justice will be served in fair courts for all the crimes committed over the past forty-seven years. We shall never forget, nor forgive, the murderers of the children of Iran.
