Book Launch: In the Name of Justice in Toronto

Stories of PS752 Families on Their Journey Toward Justice

Toronto, Canada – October 10, 2025:
As part of the ongoing cultural and documentation efforts of the Association of Families of Flight PS752 Victims, the official launch ceremony for the newly published book In the Name of Justice was held on Friday, October 10, 2025, during Session No. 204 of the Toronto Book Club at the North York Central Library. The event was attended by PS752 families, civil society members, writers, and supporters.

In the Name of Justice is a collection of testimonies from the survivors and family members of Flight PS752 victims—individuals who, from Iran and beyond, have courageously sought truth and justice. The book captures their personal accounts of confronting closed-door show trials in Iran and facing an oppressive judicial system, while continuing their pursuit of justice through international legal and human rights mechanisms.

*Readings from In the Name of Justice:

During the event, three family members read excerpts from the book, sharing deeply personal reflections on the long and painful path toward justice.
Maryam Oujan, mother of Parsa Hasannejad, Azadeh Heidaripour, mother of Amir Moradi, and Hamed Esmaeilion, husband of Parisa Eghbalian and father of Rira, each read a passage from In the Name of Justice and later responded to audience questions.

*A Fourth Publication in Pursuit of Justice

Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of this work in documenting both the human and legal dimensions of the tragedy, noting that such narratives can serve as credible evidence in ongoing and future international judicial processes.

In the Name of Justice is the fourth publication released by the Association of Families of Flight PS752 Victims Press, representing another step in the Association’s continued commitment to honoring the memory of the victims, preserving the truth, and pursuing justice on both national and international levels.
