Flight PS752 Shot Down Over Tehran
Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752 was shot down by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps shortly after takeoff from Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport. All 176 passengers and crew on board were killed, including 55 Canadian citizens and 30 permanent residents.

The Association began planning for the first anniversary commemoration of the tragedy, coordinating with communities across Canada and internationally. The event would serve as both a memorial and a call for continued accountability.

The Association coordinated first-anniversary commemoration events across multiple cities — Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, Ottawa, London, Stockholm, Kyiv, and others. Thousands gathered online and in person to honour the 176 lives lost and renew the call for accountability.

The Association marked the second anniversary with a coordinated international campaign under the banner "Two Years Without Justice." Events were held in Canada, Ukraine, Sweden, and the UK, featuring testimonies from families and calls on governments to accelerate legal proceedings.

The Association organized major commemorations marking three years since the tragedy. Events in Toronto, Ottawa, London, Stockholm, and Kyiv drew broad participation. The anniversary statement was co-signed by representatives of families from all six nationalities affected.
